- Windows 7 - Home Editions are not supported. Required versions are Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate.
- Windows Vista - Home Editions are not supported. Required versions are Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate.
- Windows XP Professional - Service pack 3 required. Home Edition is not supported on networks.
- Windows 2000 is not supported.
Internet Explorer 6 or greater must be installed on all workstations.

- CD-ROM Sound - a sound card and speakers are recommended
- 100MB free space on workstations
File Server
- Processor 2.4 GHz 8Mb cache
- Memory: 4Gb
- OS: Windows Server 2008 R2
- 3rd party licenses: An appropriate number of Windows CALs, per Microsoft's requirements.
- Storage: 250Gb 7200 RPM HDD
- Dual drives and RAID are recommended for redudancy
- Ethernet: Gigabit Ethernet
- Network server requirements vary depending upon the number of users and the operating system.
Document Imaging
If Document Imaging is to be implemented, a full page, TWAIN compliant scanner with automatic document feed should be acquired. Adequate disk space and regular backups should also be considerations.
